Charleston Police Investigate Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Collision Downtown

The Charleston Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle that occurred March 26, 2026, at approximately 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of King Street and Broad Street.
