Police Investigating After Worker Fatally Struck on I-526

The Charleston Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian collision that occurred just before 10 p.m. on November 24, 2025, on I-526 East at the Westmoreland Bridge.
