Born in Austin, TX while my father served in the Air Force. We relocated to the north east so my mother could raise us closer to family. I decided to head back South after High School where I felt like my heart belonged.
In 2006, my husband and I moved to the Low Country. After the birth of our first child in 2009, we moved to James Island to raise our family. After focusing on my real estate career, I ultimately decided to stay at home with my children.
We live on James Island near Folly Beach with our three sons and take advantage of all the beauty and recreation opportunities the Low Country provides. Whether it's the beach, local parks or our local community sports teams, we are always busy having fun around the Island! At this point in my life, I feel called to give a strong and enthusiastic voice for James Island on City Council.
While being a mother of three and a stay at home/homeschooling mom on the Island not only keeps me on my toes, it also affords me the opportunity to understand the perspectives of many families in our community. My previous work and life experiences have also helped me listen to and explore everyone's opinions. I believe this is something we need for our community, especially at this time and for this seat.
In addition to active involvement with our children’s sports activities on James Island, I currently serve my community on multiple platforms.
